Policies & Procedures

It's important to us that we protect you and the Whatever Craft House so that we can all enjoy it for years to come! When booking your reservation, you will be asked to sign a rental agreement that details all of the responsibilities we have as owners and you have as guests. This list is an abbreviated version of some of our FAQ policies.

Rental Fees

The Whatever Craft House has a minimum stay of 2-nights for groups. This rental includes a 1:00pm check-in time on your date of arrival and a 12:00pm check-out on your date of departure (Example: 1:00pm on Friday to Noon on Sunday).

Base Rental fee: $1,700

You may also extend your stay by adding additional nights to your reservation for $275 per night.

Number of Guests

The maximum number of individuals in a Renter’s Party may not exceed sixteen (16). No daytime or overnight Guests other than those in the Renter’s party established at the time of the reservation may be in or on the property without express written permission from the Owner.

Smoking and Pets

Smoking and Vaping are NOT allowed in the house or anywhere on the property. Pets are NOT allowed in the house or on the property. Violation of this policy will result in loss of security deposit.

Accidents

The Owners is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Premises or its grounds. The Owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Renter’s party. Renter expressly assumes the risk of any harm arising from the use of the premises by the Renter and their Guests.

Property Condition & Housekeeping

Renting from the Owner is like staying at a friend’s home; there are no cleaning “rules” but there is a certain amount of courtesy expected of the Renter and its Guests, including completing a short list of tasks at check-out that include stripping bed linens, emptying trash, wiping up spills and removing leftover food, etc.

Payment & Cancellation

Your paid Security Deposit will hold the reservation for the dates requested. The remaining rental balance is due no later than thirty (30) days prior to the check-in date. If you cancel your reservation, the following policies will be in place:

  • Cancellations more than 30 days prior to arrival: Owner will use commercially reasonable efforts to rebook the property for the cancelled dates. If able to rebook the property for the cancelled dates, the Owner will offer to reschedule the Renter to new dates or refund the Renter the amount of the Security Deposit less an administrative fee of $100.00

  • Cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival: Owner shall use commercially reasonable efforts to re-book the property for canceled dates. If the Owner is able to rebook the property for the cancelled dates, Owner will offer to reschedule the Renter to new dates and transfer the Security Deposit and apply the paid Rental Fees to the new reservation dates once a contract has been signed for the new dates. However, if the Owner is unable to re-book the property for the cancelled dates with another party, the Owner will refund fifty-percent (50%) of paid rental fees but keep the remainder as liquidated damages for lost revenue.
